“It’s Not Easy Being Green:” Don’t Look Like A Fool This St. Patty’s Day

No offense to Kermit, but this St. Patrick’s Day don’t look like him by wearing green from head to toe. The truth is that you can still be stylish while being festive, and we will show you how.

So first things first, break up the green. It’s either a green top, jacket, pant, or even a hat, but never wear all green all together. So let’s avoid the Kermit look on March 17th and during the parades.

Irish Yoga Trucker Hat $20.00 – Urban Outfitters

Nylon four-pocket bomber jacket $69.95 – Gap

Nike Pre Montreal Racer V Sneaker $85.00 – Urban Outfitters

Washed Green Skinny Chinos $60.00 – Top Man

It’s about that time to drop the “Celtics” and “Irish” jerseys, and leave them for sporting events because that’s where they belong. Instead opt for something simple that’s not a jersey. Replace the jerseys with tee shirts, polos, or rugby shirts for that same laid back look.

Classic rugby striped polo $34.95 – Gap

Maptote Portland Tee $28.00 – Urban Outfitters

Belmont Piqué Polo $55.00 – Bonobos

Just because it says “Ireland” or “Irish” or covered in shamrocks doesn’t make it stylish on St. Patty’s Day. Just wear what you’d normally wear and add some green to it. But remember to not go overkill with the green.

Reversible striped webbing belt $29.95 - Gap

Secret Wash lightweight shirt in Fallon check $64.50 – J. Crew

Monster Madras $15.00 – The Tie Bar

So this St. Patrick’s Day, take it easy on the green and remember that it’s just another day.
